WILL PHYSIOTHERAPY HURT?
Physiotherapy aims to provide you with relief of symptoms and see gradual improvements over a few treatment sessions. It is common for people to experience some increased tenderness or soreness after a treatment session.
It is important to be aware that this is not a bad thing, your physio will have already explained, it is also important that that you continue treatment and/or exercises at this time. Pain after a treatment session does not mean you must live with the problem but it does provide an indicator of where your body is at right now and how sensitive the tissues are to doing more strenuous activities.

The number of treatment session will depend on the nature and severity of your problem. Your Chartered physiotherapist will provide information of how long your problem will take to resolve.
