Orthotics are insoles prescribed to correct the biomechanics of the foot and their associated symptoms Orthotic devices vary from simple anti pronation type devices to customised orthotics.

Orthotics and insoles can be prescribed with customised forefoot and rearfoot additions, these include toe separators, metatarsal dome pads for forefoot pain, heel raises for leg length discrepancies, and toe alignment splints for bunions and hammer toes.
